Brazil Day 19 - Rio, city of bars

With little activity today, I thought I'd give you a bit of a wider look at Rio. One thing that has struck me here is all the barred entrances. Everywhere is surrounded by steel bars. From the grandest apartment buildings to much smaller houses, there are bars everywhere. As an excuse for a blog post, here are a selection of the bars within a block of my apartment, which is in a very nice area. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
