I spent over a decade photographing sport. It is so different to landscape or portrait photography. The scene is presented in front of you. You have pretty much no control over anything. You have to capture the moment of the game or event, with no second chances. You can’t ask them to play it again if you miss the shot.

I had a great time working my way up the sports photography ladder, eventually landing at the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil. What a six weeks that was! Here are some of my favourite sporting images and cuttings for you.
